Dress Code for School Year 2019-2020

Uniforms are purchased from Flynn & O’Hara and shoes may be purchased from Stride Rite Shoes.  We expect all students to be clean and neat, wearing uniforms fit to size with shirts/blouses tucked in at all times.

Personal Grooming:

It is expected that each child will have been instructed on how to properly care for oneself in the areas of appearance and personal hygiene. In addition to being clean and well groomed the following regulations must be followed:

Girls: Cosmetics of any kind (including lip gloss) and excessive jewelry is not permitted.  Jewelry may include a medal or cross and one ring on each hand. Earrings may not be larger than a quarter. Only onepair of earrings may be worn. Hair may not be dyed or bleached.  Excessive and/or large hair accessories, which include hair extensions, are not permitted.  All hair-dos,  including extensions, should be discreet in length and volume. 

Boys: Hair length is not to exceed the top of the shirt collar or cover the eyebrows. Mohawks, tails, fads, sculptures or designs of any kind are not permitted. Hair may not be dyed or bleached. No earrings are permitted up to and including Graduation.

 

No Uniform Days:

If you wish to participate, you are required to follow the following guidelines:

1. No tank tops, belly shirts, cut-off t-shirts, spaghetti straps, strapless tops or muscle shirts.  No inappropriate slogans on t-shirts.
2. No short shorts, miniskirts, low rise pants or cut-off shorts  No ripped jeans
3. No flip flops
4. Follow the theme of the No Uniform Day

The above guidelines must be followed. No exceptions will be made.  Failure to adhere to the rules will result in the suspension of participation in future No Uniform Days.
