During the Month of May we will be focusing on the virtue of Fairness. Pope Francis reminds us, " “We must move forward together, as one, in a renewed spirit of fraternity and solidarity, cooperating generously for the common good." Through prayer this Lenten season how can we move forward as one with a renewed spirit to a deeper relationship with Jesus?
Come join us for our Early Childhood Open House on Tuesday, October 22nd from 9:30 am - 11:00 am and see firsthand why St. Christopher School students thrive! We offer Catholic values along with academic excellence. Students in our Early Childhood Program develop a lifelong love of learning through play and academics.
Pope Francis declared England’s Cardinal John Henry Newman (1801-1890) and four women saints at the beginning of a festive Mass in St. Peter’s Square, October 13, attended by 50,000 people from all continents. The four women are: Italy’s Giuseppina Vannini (1859-1911), founder of the Daughters of Saint Camillus; India’s Mariam Thresia Chiramel Mankidiyan (1876-1926), founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family; Brazil’s Sister Dulce Lopes Pontes (1914-1992); and Switzerland’s Margherita Bays (1815-1879), a laywoman. The first three spent their lives working for the poor.
Sandwiches will only be available for lunch this week. Hot lunch will begin on September 16th. A change in your child's dismissal must be in writing. Students must bring in an absence note when returning to school. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. My email address is aschweers@stchris-school.org. Prayer is the best armor we have, it is the key which opens the heart of God." ~ St. Padre Pio

As part of the Diocesan Edge Initiative, we are fortunate to have connections in Catholic Charities' Mental Health Services, who are able to assist anyone who needs to speak to someone.
Congratulations to Felipe Tapia and Thomas Fuller, two seventh graders, who competed in the Regional Finals of the National Science Bee. Both boys qualified to participate in the National Finals in June.
Our 7th and 8th Grade boys had a great time at Ogymics this year. Friendly competition, athletic events, good sportsmanship and great fans to cheer them on were part of this great experience.
