Miss Del Tejo Pre-Kindergarten Class

Hello, my name is Lisa Del Tejo. I'm a dedicated and compassionate teacher who loves children. I have a Masters degree from Touro College in Early Childhood and Special Education. I've been in the teaching field since 2008. I love to see kids learn ; it is my joy and my passion. During this time I've had varied experiences with children from ages 2 years old to 12th grade. The younger ones give me much joy as I see them progress through the varied developmental stages of early childhood.  Their innocence, their desire to learn, and also their obstacles to learn present an opportunity that I'm very familiar with . The gift I have is to move the child through the obstacle with consistency, patience, and gentleness. I connect with them and they connect with me. I'm happy to be on this journey of learning and growing. In my spare time i enjoy hiking on a trail or in the mountains, walking on the beach, and swimming. To enrich my spiritual life I go on retreats and attend conferences. If you have any questions or concerns about your child feel free to email me at ldeltejo@stchris-school.org.
