The test is on TEXTBOOK CH. 12 - MACHINES.
There will be NO essays, but some formulas will be on the test.
THE 7th & 8th GRADE SCIENCE FAIR WAS TUESDAY, MARCH 7th
IN MSGR. LAWLOR HALL.
ALL STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE INVITED TO ATTEND.

The Science Fair at Chaminade High School will be held on Saturday, March 18th.

We will also be having vocabulary quizzes on the New York State Review Book Chapters. We have completed review Ch. 1 - Matter, Ch. 4 - Motion, Ch. 5 Organisms, and Ch. 9 - Earth Resource.
We have also connected to Quizlet which practices vocabulary via quizzes and games.
There will be a weekly NYSTATE TEST ON VOCABULARY on assigned chapters.
STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO WORK ON ALL CHAPTERS OF THEIR NEW YORK STATE BOOKS INDEPENDENTLY.
We will be meeting daily and homework will be given on this page. However, it is very important that students also put all assignments in their planners in order to organize the books and supplies they need to take home each day.
There will be a weeks notice prior to each test and they will be listed on this page.
There should be no weekend homework other than long-range projects and studying for tests.
There will be extra help for EIGHTH grade on Friday mornings beginning at 8:10 A.M.
The Science schedule for 8-1 & 8-2 Science is:
Monday: DOUBLE PERIOD 1:00 - 2:25 P.M.
Tuesday: 1:50 - 2:25 P.M.
Wednesday: 1:50 - 2:25 P.M.
Thursday: 8:45 - 9:28 A.M.
Friday; S.T.E.M. - 11:32 A.M. - 12:17 P.M.

I HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT WEEK!
This year the EIGHTH grade will be exploring Physical Science dealing with matter, energy, and chemical changes. In addition we will be reviewing throughout the school year to prepare for the eighth grade science performance and written tests in June. Materials in the Lab are used in class on a regular basis and will continue to be used throughout the year. Energy and force are our final topics.
We will be meeting daily It is very important that students also put all assignments in their planners in order to organize their books and supplies they need to take home each day.
There will be a week's notice prior to each test and should be no weekend homework other than long-range projects and studying for tests. Studying nightly is necessary. Quizzes will be announced as needed. They will be listed on this page.
