Wow, we are into our Third Trimester & SPRING!!!!!
Third Trimester Progress Reports Went out this Week. (4/27)

This Tuesday ( 5/1) is our test on Ch. 15 - The Human Digestive System.
We completed Chapter 15 and essays have been given.

ESSAYS:
1. What is the difference between Chemical and Mechanical Digestion. Give an example of each.

2.  Discuss  any 4 important nutrients (there are more) and how they affect the Human Body System.

Hypothesis a reason for this difference.

FINALS ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN JUNE.
TOPICS INCLUDE THE HUMAN BODY:
CH. 14 - BONES, MUSCLES, AND SKIN
CH. 15 - DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
CH. 16 - CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
CH. 17 - RESPIRATION & EXCRETION
IN ADDITION TO OUR STUDY GUIDE BOOK AND QUIZLETS, ESSAYS WILL BE ASSIGNED.



We have reviewed the Study Guide Pages for accuracy and practiced the on online Study Guide (PHSchool.com / Code: cha - 3150).

There is also a vocabulary Quizlet for Ch. 15.


MANY ASSIGNMENTS AND TESTS AND ASSIGNMENTS HAVE BEEN GRADED AND GIVEN BACK TO BE SIGNED. THEY ARE ON POWERSCHOOL.

This year the seventh grade will be exploring Life Science dealing with all living organisms and the environments they live in.

We will be meeting daily and homework will be given on this page. However, it is very important that students also put all assignments in their planners.

There will be a week's notice prior to each test and should be no weekend homework other than long-range projects and studying for tests. Studying nightly is necessary. Quizzes will be announced as needed. They will be listed on this page. 

There will be extra help for seventh grade on Wednesday mornings at 8:10 A.M

This year the seventh grade will focus primarily on Life Science (organisms and their environments).

We will be meeting daily and homework will be given on this page. However, it is very important that students also put all assignments in their planners in order to organize the books and supplies they need to take home each day.

There should be no written weekend homework, but long-range project work and studying for tests will be necessary. Studying is an important part of nightly homework.

If homework is unable to be completed on time the students must have a parent's note explaining the circumstances; otherwise students will receive an incomplete, as well as, lunchtime detention.
