7- D-1 & D-3 Science - Mrs. Brandel

 We are well into the first trimester.
Many assignments and tests have been graded and given back to be signed. Grades are on Powerschool.

We have completed Chapter 3 - Cell Processes and Energy and our test is 
this Thursday, 10/19.

ESSAYS:

1. EXPLAIN THE 6 STEPS OF MITOSIS : INTERPHASE, PROPHASE, METAPHASE, ANAPHASE, TELEPHASE & CYTOKINESIS AND WHAT HAPPENS DURING THESE STAGES TEXT P. 98-99

2. EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PHOTOSYNTHESIS AND RESPIRATION AND WHY THEY ARE BOTH IMPORTANT.

This year our focus is on Life Science and we will be exploring ALL forms of living organisms including cells, viruses, bacteria, protists, fungi, plants, and animals!

The Seventh and Eighth Grade will be participating in our Annual Science Fair this Spring!

 LIFE SCIENCE IS A VERY EXCITING TOPIC!

We will be meeting daily and homework will be given on this page. However, it is very important that students also put all assignments in their planners in order to organize the books and supplies they need to take home each day.

There will be a week's notice prior to each test and they will be listed on this page.
There should be no weekend homework other than long-range projects and studying for tests.

There will be extra help for seventh grade on Tuesday mornings beginning at 8:10 A.M.
