What we are currently learning:

Social Studies:​
​ ​Everyone did a wonderful job on their European Explorers project and research paper. The students loved sharing and presenting their work with their classmates.

Math: We are currently starting Chapter 3 in our Go Math! books. Chapter 3 will focus on adding and subtracting decimals. Students Should be practicing their math skills each night on IXL for a minimum of 15-20 minutes. 

ELA: We are continuing to read "Loser" by Jerry Spinelli as a class. Students are working on their Novel Journals as we read. This includes practicing note taking skills, writing character analysis and chapter summaries.

We are also working on lesson 6, "Quest for Tree Kangaroo" in our journeys textbooks.

We are working on Lesson 2, the design solution process of engineers and criteria vs. constraints

*Upcoming Tests* -Science 11/8 & Health 11/9

HOMEWORK: Homework is given Monday-Friday and needs to be handed in daily. Students should be reading 20 minutes each night and completing there reading logs as well.
